AI Music Has a Home Now: Introducing Mai Tai Music

There's a version of the AI music conversation that goes like this: it's not real music, it's not real art, it's not made by real artists. If you've been anywhere near the internet in the last year or so, you've heard it. Maybe you've said it. Maybe you've had it said about you.

Mai Tai Music isn't here to complain or argue. Mai Tai Music is here to deliver the tunes.

It's a streaming platform built exclusively for AI music: AI-assisted, AI-generated, all of it. It's here for the creators and songwriters who make it, not as a novelty or a side category. As the bridge between the creator and the AI music fan.

What Maitai Actually Does

Maitai is a streaming platform, a hosting platform, and a community built around one premise: AI music creators deserve a place to showcase their music, a way to find listeners and fans, and a fair shot at being taken seriously.

Listeners create a free account and stream 24/7. Creators upload their work with no upfront fees — and that's not a promotional window or a tier you eventually get pushed out of. It's a structural guarantee. Mai Tai Music will never collect a fee from creators for uploading content. Ever.

What Creators Get

Uploading a release is where Mai Tai Music starts earning its keep.

Private Releases
This is a feature available to Pro Artists and it lets you upload an upcoming release and preview everything — track list, order, cover art, the whole package — privately from your Library. Tweak it until it's right. Nobody else can see it or play it. When you're ready, you take it live. It's the difference between a finished product and a work-in-progress, and Mai Tai Music treats that distinction like it matters.

Future Releases
This feature lets you schedule a release with a countdown page. Set the date, and Mai Tai Music builds the anticipation for you — listeners can see what's coming, when it drops, and land on the page the moment it goes live. Private Releases are for work you're still shaping. Future Releases are for work you're ready to announce.

Back covers
Back covers are standard and are fully supported for every EP and LP. Small detail, real difference in how a release feels finished.

Social media funnels
These display as clickable icons on your Artist Page. Set them once, and every visitor to your page can find you on whatever platform you actually use.

Artist Tips
Tips let listeners support you directly, on any off-site platform you choose. One URL in the upload page, and it's set up. Mai Tai Music doesn't take a percentage. Not a cut, not a fee, not a "convenience charge." Zero.

YouTube Video Carousels
Attach the corresponding music video link to any specific track. Those videos display on your Artist Page as a carousel of thumbnails, and listeners can watch them in a modal without leaving the platform. Your music and your music videos, in one place.

Radio pitches
Radio pitches are live now. Singles can be pitched directly to Wylde Chylde Radio — one pitch per day, per user, for now. More radio platforms are coming.

Analytics
As a creator, you want to know how your tracks and releases are performing. See plays based on a selected timeframe and filter per release or per artists (if you have more than one)! Analytics are privately shown in the My Content section of the site.

Reviews
This is a high-level interaction feature and is opt-in on both sides. As a creator, you check a box on any release to allow reviews. If you'd rather not be reviewed, you don't check the box. Your release, your call.

What Listeners Get

Search by artist, album, or song title. Filter by genre, sub-genre, and explicit lyrics. Two creator categories keep things clear: AI-Assisted for hybrid artists working with AI as a support tool, and AI-Generated for creators who are all-in on AI sorcery.

The Music Reviews feature works the way reviews should. Turn on Reviews in your User Settings, pick the genres you want to review, and Mai Tai Music notifies you when matching releases are posted. Want your release reviewed? Check a box when you upload or edit it. That's the whole process.

Any review can be reported to admins by anyone. Trolling and retaliatory reviews don't stay up. The review system exists for the community, and it's treated that way.

Share pages are built in. Every release has a shareable page with the art and text already filled in, so when you find something worth passing along, you don't have to build the post yourself. Find it, share it, done. Good music spreads faster when sharing it isn't work.

Where You Can Use It

Maitai is live in the browser right now, with a Windows app available directly from the site. The Android app is in Beta and is nearly ready. Apple follows soon.

The Point

AI music is not a Scarlet Letter or a problem that needs the kill switch that has been imposed by the corrupt music industry. It's not a trend to be capitalized on. It's a growing body of work made by people who are building something new, and they deserve a platform that treats them like the artists they are.

Mai Tai Music is built by creators, for creators. No upload fees, ever. No percentage taken from your tips. No arguing about whether you belong.

Just a place to put your work, and listeners who came to hear it.

Mai Tai Music is supported entirely by giving. There are bills to be paid and the platform relies on the fans to make it possible. So please, if you believe in platforms that work for the creators and the music fans, then donate to the cause and continue enjoying the newest AI music platform brought to you by creators for creators and their fans!
